Our Story
It Started With Two Students Who Loved Homes
Courtney and Manny Kavouklis met as college students who shared a love for beautiful homes. They married in 2001 and founded CMK Construction in 2004 with one goal: build remodels they would be proud to live in themselves.
More than twenty years later, that goal has not changed. The company they started has grown into one of Tampa Bay's most recognized remodeling teams, with thousands of completed kitchens, bathrooms, and whole home renovations across Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties, and now Sarasota and Manatee.
What has stayed the same is the way we work. Every project is designed and built by one team, on one contract, with one dedicated project manager who stays with you from the first consultation to the final walkthrough.

Our Promise
Let Us Build Your Dream Home
When we remodel your home, our goal is bigger than changing how it looks. We want our work to change how your home feels, functions and supports your everyday life.
We promise to help create spaces that feel easier to use. Your kitchen should make cooking, gathering and hosting more enjoyable. Your bathroom should feel comfortable, practical and peaceful. Your home should support your routines instead of working against them.
We promise to focus on lasting value. A well-planned remodel should add beauty, improve function and help protect your investment. That means paying attention to the details you can see and the ones you cannot. From layout and materials to installation and finishing touches, our team works with care because your home deserves work that lasts.
We promise to respect the trust you place in us. Remodeling can feel personal because we are working inside the place where your life happens. Our team treats that responsibility seriously. We communicate clearly, keep the project organized and work to protect your home during construction.
We promise to help reduce uncertainty. You should not have to wonder what comes next or who to call with a question. Our process is built around guidance, communication and a clear path forward.
Most of all, we promise to build with your future in mind. We want your finished space to make mornings smoother, evenings more relaxing and gatherings more memorable. We want you to feel proud when guests walk in. We want you to enjoy your home more every day.
That is what drives CMK Construction. We do not just remodel homes. We help build the next chapter of life inside them.
