Apollo Beach is a boating community, unincorporated southern Hillsborough County built out along Tampa Bay and a canal system that puts a private dock behind a whole lot of back yards. Original 1960s through 1980s canal-front homes off Apollo Beach Boulevard with direct Bay access. Newer master-planned waterfront communities like MiraBay and Harbour Isles. Golf-course homes at the Apollo Beach Golf & Sea Club, gated waterfront in Symphony Isles and Andalucia, and inland family neighborhoods like Covington Park, Waterset, and Caloosa Creek east of U.S. 41. The older waterfront homes are the ones we hear about most. Great lots, great water, and kitchens and baths that never left the decade they were built in.
