Every house in the Town of Belleair Shore is a single-family home on the beach. No towers, no association clubhouse, no commercial block, no bay-side lots. Roughly 55 individually designed homes on wide beachfront parcels on the west side of Gulf Boulevard, all sharing one address line and one road. Some are older beach houses that predate the town's incorporation; others were taken down to the pilings and rebuilt at modern elevation. A kitchen in either one is a coastal job first and a kitchen job second.
The older houses tend to share the same flaw: the kitchen is walled off from the side of the house that faces the water. Original cabinets, a cramped work area, and one small window pointed at the best view in Pinellas County. The rebuilt homes have their own quirks, with plumbing and mechanical runs threaded through an elevated floor system that was never planned around a larger island or a second sink.
