Temple Terrace is its own city in Hillsborough County, wrapped around a bend of the Hillsborough River northeast of downtown Tampa. The original 1920s and 1930s section was laid out around the Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club, and it is Mediterranean Revival through and through: stucco walls, barrel-tile roofs, arched windows, mature oaks over streets like Whiteway Drive. Beyond it sit 1950s through 1970s ranch homes in Raintree Village, Terrace Oaks, and Theresa Arbor, plus riverfront homes in Riverhills.
