What the Fabuwood Warranty Actually Covers in a Florida Home

Fabuwood provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on its current series, including Allure, Ovela, and Illume, covering defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the home. It is a genuinely strong warranty for this segment. It is also written with exclusions that matter more on the Gulf Coast than almost anywhere else in the country, and reading it before you buy is a better use of an hour than reading another brand comparison.

• Environmental control is a condition of coverage. Cabinets installed where there is no year-round climate control, or where they are exposed to excessive moisture, humidity, extreme temperatures, or prolonged direct sunlight, fall outside the warranty. For a seasonal home or a snowbird condo that sits closed and unconditioned through the summer, that is the clause to understand first.
• Rental and multi-unit use needs written approval. Coverage is written for residential use by the original purchaser.
