Sun City Center is one of Florida's original active-adult communities, a 55+ enclave in southeast Hillsborough County that Del Webb began building in 1961. Original single-story villas from the 1960s and 1970s in the core community. Gated Kings Point, with its own condos and villas. Newer single-story homes in Renaissance, Verano, Cypress Creek, and the Del Webb sections built in the 1990s and 2000s, plus Caloosa Country Club and La Paloma.
